If you are looking for compound phrases, adverbial locutions, phrasal verbs, idioms or any other clustered term containing two or more words, you must activate the IDIOMS button. This will display a scroll list containing dozens, if not hundreds, of such said compound words that include your entry word.
The entry word will not necessarily be included in the phrase exactly as entered. It can even be in a conjugated form. For instance, if you want to have a list of phrases which contain the word "know", just enter it and activate IDIOMS. You will obtain a list of 51 phrases, including conjugated forms such as "I just knew it (ya lo decía yo)", "I wish I knew (¡ojalá lo supiera!), and many more.
Plus, you will get another list of phrases starting with "know". Just take a look at the list at the left of the Dictionary, right below the entry box. You have about 200 additional phrases that start with your seed word.
This feature also works in the reverse direction. Enter "ser" and you will surprised at how many phrasal terms we have which include the verb "ser" or any one of its conjugations, at the amount of compound expressions existing in Word Magic's databases.
