Tip #276 - Grammar & Syntax In Color!
Applies to Translator Professional and Professional Plus
You must know by now that not only the source texts but the translations now appear in colors, when using the Interactive Translation Mode. This is a new version 6 function, where every part of speech has a specific color; these colors indicate which is a noun, which is a verb, and which is an adjective or adverb, plus others. Let’s take the following sentence, which includes many parts of speech:

There is a button called “COLOR LEGEND” at the top of the ribbon toolbar.

If you click on it, the following legend guide will appear at the right:

Now you can see what each color stands for. You can click on any of these color legend buttons and the corresponding part of speech in the source text and the translation will be highlighted in bold, to stand out; click several times on the same button and the highlight will browse among all the words available for that part of speech. For example, click several times on the NOUN button and the highlight will stop at each noun available.

Also, you can find at the very bottom, to help out, a PART OF SPEECH SELECTION BOX, to see which other parts of speech are available for the word you highlight with the mouse.
You can also see a button, almost at the middle of the legend window, that says ON. This button is to turn the colors off or on, to your preference. It can only be accessed from here.
